A visit to North Stradbroke Island and Frenchmans Beach is a must if you are in South East Queensland. This stunning beach is the subject for my painting “Afternoon Light”. Walking out onto the peninsular at Point Lookout the beach unfolds in all its glory backed by steep densely vegetated bluffs it often has few people on it , clean blue waters and rolling wave, with golden sands a hike to it makes a great afternoons adventure.
