“Changing Colours”
The George Gill Range area is a painters paradise its located south-west of the Greater MacDonnell Ranges and 215 km west-southwest of Alice Springs .Changing Colours is a painting in which I tried to capture the end of the day as the sun dips behind Carmichael's Crag and the George Gill Range home of Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park , its mesmerizing to watch the changing colours of the sandstone and sky fading from bright red and gold, it becomes a beautiful dusky pink and purple as the sun dips behind the horizon and the stars come out.
