“Blue Birds Round The Bend”
Arizona is very similar to the Australian outback, I've included this painting for that reason. I like travelling to Nevada Utah and Arizona for inspiration and hiking through the canyons and desert. As you leave Page , not far from town is one of the wonders of the world , the country side seems flat , but as you walk toward “Horse Shoe Bend” I was stunned, a gigantic amphitheater opens up, peering over the edge a canyon carved by the massive Colorado River below. I was a spectator amongst this grandeur, privileged to see it and capture the moment of fleeting Blue Birds in my painting “Blue Birds Around The Bend”.
