One of my favourite things when camping in the wilderness is the freedom to have a campfire , who hasn't been transfixed staring into the flames. The stars are out ,it's quiet, the silence only broken by crackling twigs and floating embers, friendship strengthened ,stories told old and new. ”Stand By Me” is my way of doing a painting that will bring those treasured memories into the living room to be relived again and again.
